Antique Road Trip Autumn 2013 BBC 1 A short piece of filming was done in Rewley Road for the Antique Road Trip which we were told would be broadcast 'sometime in February on a Friday' and that we would be advised when. As far as we know the excerpts filmed at Quainton were never used. Regular viewers will be aware that the format of the show is for 2 different auctioneers each week to visit antique shops in a given area with each of them, on each day, visiting places of interest enroute. Thomas Plant came to Quainton for the filming. We understand that Bletchley Park was also involved when Quainton was being filmed. The filming at Quainton covered interior views of the Churchill Coach and LNWR Diner as well as very rare use of our 3 wheeled velocipede.
Top Gear Filmed 2014 BBC 1 A segment was filmed for Top Gear at Quainton as part of a journey through the south of England. This was due to be shown in March 2015, but was caught up in the suspension and later sacking of Jeremy Clarkson. It has not been shown to date. Only external shots were taken, no locomotives or stock featured in the filming.
Endeavour 2017 ITV Endeavour is an Inspector Morse prequel, starring Shaun Evans as a younger version of the detective. The filming took place in July 2017
