Stop Press and News in Brief
Due to pressure of space, a number of items have had to be held over until the next issue. These include details of a new coal hopper wagon (mentioned briefly in the Steam Heritage article), the latest on the restoration of Mk I CK No. 15319, which is nearing completion, photos of Hunslet diesel No. 7016 and of work in progress on LMS box van No. 34676, plus news of the publication of a site ramble, which went on sale on 7th June. No. 64 will also bring you details of recent changes in Society officers and heads of department and full details of a very exciting event planned for next year. Finally, the Open Days Department are still anxiously looking for a new roster clerk and the lack of such a person is causing not a little difficulty - any takers? |
