Quainton Virtual Stockbook - Where are they now?

British Rail Mark 1 - BSK S34947


S34947 is a brake corridor second coach built in 1956 by Metro Cammell for British Rail. It was built to diagram number 182, lot number 30229.

The carriage arrived at Quainton as part of delivery of several coaches by a track slew from the BR line, in July 1977. Details of this transfer are in the Visitors Section. In 1985 this coach was swapped with Brake Suburban E43190 from the Mid Hants Railway.
