Midland Railway Goods Van (AD 47271)
This wagon is a larger version of the MR Goods van (AD 47251), having a longer wheelbase. It came to Quainton from the Ministry of Defence, Graven Hill, Bicester, arriving at Quainton in August 1972. It carried MOD number AD47271.
Originally owned at Quainton by the Ivatt Trust, it was donated by them to Quainton during 2002. It has been restored to early LMS livery.
