This brake van was temporarily stored at Quainton for approximately a year. The intention was that it would then move on its new home on a new venture being started up in Wales to be called the Bridgend Valleys Railway. This line was intended to run for 4.5 miles up the Garw Valley and end at Pontycymmer.

The Brake Van was fully operational and as part of the agreement for it to stay with us, we had permission to use it as required, though it was not in fact used. In moved early in 2013 to a private site in South Wales.
