We hope you did not miss Frank Boait's 'Chronicles of the return to service of a Southern Veteran' in the September issue of The Railway Magazine; it was a good literary effort! Perhaps you also saw the photograph of 0314 which appeared in the Bucks Herald. It was such a splendid picture that I thought it would be good to reproduce in our magazine. This we are able to do through the kindness of the Editor of the paper who waived the usual copyright fee. Many thanks to the Herald. The picture was taken on 29th May when Reg and Les were the crew, the other lads were visitors.
