Hastings DEMU


Hastings Diesels Limited railtour from Hastings to Beaconsfield (calling at the Bekonscot Model Village and Railway), Aylesbury, and beyond the normal limit of passenger services to reach Quainton Road. It is believed to be the first time that a Hastings DEMU has gone beyond Aylesbury on the former Metropolitan Railway. As well as visiting the working steam museum at Quainton Road, passengers were able to travel on the Hastings DEMU to Claydon Junction. The train was formed thus: 60118 Tunbridge Wells (DMBS), 60501 (TSO), 69337 (Buffet), 70262 (TSO), 60529 (TSO), 60116 Mountfield (DMBS). Motor coach 60118 Tunbridge Wells leading on departure from Hastings. It returned in the same orientation.
