Andrew Barclay 0-4-0ST No. 2015 Tom Parry
In 1935 this locomotive was supplied to the Central Portland Cement Company Ltd., Kirton Lindsey. The firm later became the Alpha Cement Company, and in 1949, G. & T. Earle Ltd., who were a subsidiary of Associated Portland Cement Manufacturers. APCM donated Tom Parry to Quainton Railway Society, having withdrawn it from their Houghton Regis plant in 1967. It had been there since 1949. |
Tom Parry is currently being overhauled at the Pontypool & Blaenavon Railway, Blaenavon. |
